We have now finished our insight phase of the project; three weeks working insight is not enough. We feel we barely scratched the surface. We are still falling down the rabbit hole, and we will not try to climb back up, at least not yet.

“Diversity Fuels Insightfulness — Insightfulness comes from diverse experiences (travel, reading, culture, life, challenges) from which to draw associations.” — insightscience.com

Our background as a project team is immensely diverse, and it has helped us when collecting and analysing our data. This has enabled us to not focus on confirming our theories but to help us cast a wider net to make more penetrating insights.

“Bias is the enemy — Bias and assumptions are the top killers of insight discovery.” — insightscience.com

There is one added hurdle when working with such a diverse team. Each subject and specialisation have their own jargon and methods of relaying information, not to mention that each individual person has their own style of interaction. So communication which is demanding in itself is not made easier.

This is something we acknowledge and work with daily. So we are very excited to be heading into a week of team processes which includes work on communication.
