Reality: what a concept! — Robin Williams

We have gone from ideas to concepts this week.

A concept can be thought of as a well-defined idea that has been tested for its credibility.- https://www.feedough.com/idea-vs-concept/

We have been taught ways to define our ideas; “concepts are metaphors” our lecturer explains. These need little to no explanation for others to understand. Or if the idea is a little more complicated to boil down to a clear metaphorical concept, then we can use storytelling to define it.

Find the value and the vision of the project to showcase. Find the why, the true why of the matter and the role of the idea and build the concept around that.

These both seem easy in theory, but maybe harder to implement. Thankfully we are only left to our own devices after we have been given tools we can use. We also have ample opportunities to discuss with some great minds that work in the field. We used a ladder theory to find several roles and values and now have more material than we feel we can process and develop in a week.

But as always we start big and boil it down. So far, we are working with this:

The world needs to change its ways for everything to survive!

This might seem drastic, but it is the truth, it is all connected, and one small change can have an impact.

Then think of what a drastic change can do.

A change in Norway is small, but a change in the Nordics can be monumental.

A change in the way we develop cities might be a good start but think if we changed how we produce, consume and discard in all industries and how that would benefit us all.

Now let’s put all this together, a change across the board in all industries in the Nordics, that’s why we are here. Let us be your guide and translator to realise a better world with Circular Economy together.

C the future. See the future with us.

Change is needed; Change is coming. Circular Economy is the way forward. So Connect with us, Communicate your stories, Contribute your ideas and Collaborate with others. Be a part of the Crew that facilitates this Change. Join the Community and be a part of the Change to C the future.
